Once upon a time i remarked here that “German” was a general purpose insult. I was reflecting on genetic heritage after seeing an ad for 23 and Me or some similar company. The ad presented German heritage as a lesser option.

He's Jewish, probably has a familial origin in the pale of settlement. Even if German jewish that wouldn't be the reference here.
