            We do all the vitriol by PM nowadays, but Horace never sees it of course.

            I was only joking

              Most of the right-leaning firebrands have passed on, in one way or another.

                @Horace

                Post Larry, there were only two right leaning firebrands remaining. George was at most a moderate Reagan era conservative but never a firebrand or anything close to one.

                  I have to admit, not having much counterpoint any more here makes this monthly membership fee I've been paying since 2005 hardly worth it any longer

                    We don't accept Euros.

                    Well, Klaus does, but that's all.

                      We still have conservatives, me included, but I'm not a hidebound ideologue. We're certainly not left wing.

                          Where do you reside Klaus? I may be piano shopping soon in your neck of the woods. I already know where i am spending the month of August 2026, Bavarian alps, bertchesgaden salzburg area. Its the worst month to live in Sardinia. Half of western europe goes there for their vacay and it becomes crowded on the beaches with temps aproaching 40c some days. Going to drive my car right onto the ferry to Rome and head north with my pups

                            I once drove from Bavaria to Klaus’s house. It wasn’t that far.

                            “In the 25 years that I served in the United States Congress, Republicans never, ever, one time agreed on what a health care proposal should look like. Not once.”

                              Depending on where you are in Bavaria it's a 2-4h drive. Once you know more, PM me!
