Passport Power Ranking

The Henley Passport Index ranks passports by a very simple metric: the more countries the holder of a passport can enter without a visa, the higher the "passport power" ranking.

The U. S. Passport has always ranked very high ... until now.
As of 2025, we have fallen out of the "top 10." Now we are ranked 12th along with Malaysia.
