For background, old text messages from the Democrat candidate for AG came out where he was talking about shooting the Republican Speaker in the Virginia Legislature. He then messaged that he hates the guy’s kids and would like to murder them, too.

There’s a push for him to drop out, but Spanberger, despite a few recriminations for his choice of language, is refusing to engage.

Sears is amusing. I don't know much about her, but I've liked what I've heard. Odd choice for her opponent to say nothing with silence, rather than be a politician and say nothing with words.

I think that her advisers are telling her that it’s a land mine and just don’t go down that road. Don’t touch it.

So far it hasn’t hurt her in the polls, but if you see a drop, I expect her to drop the guy like a container of yogurt left in a car in Texas for 8 hours…
