That’s a mini day in London.

How well do you know it?

I’d go into central London and then do the things that seem interesting, which goes back to how well you know it. If you’re a novice I’d say see wedtminster abbey, the Churchill war rooms, etc.

Your hotel will store your bag.

I wouldn’t stay out by Heathrow. Maybe if your layover was 5-6hrs I’d say go visit Windsor castle, have lunch and return. But you have a complete afternoon and evening so head into London proper.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I believe there's a costly but fast direct train from HR to central London. Given your limited time that might be preferable over the tube.

People try to do too much when visiting London. I'd just do one thing and spend some time there.

If you don't want to go into town, you could visit the Brooklands Museum, aviation and motorsport. I went there with my son when we had a half day left over at the end of a vacation and were flying out the next morning.

        I was only joking

I have been to London but my last trip there was maybe 15+ years ago. This 21 hour layover at Heathrow seems too short to really do much and yet too long to waste, and I suspected what @AndyD (next door) says about tourist places shut at 5 or 6 PM, hence asking for advice. Thanks, I appreciate the suggestions. 👍

Thanks for the reminder I’m heading to London in 2.5 weeks and need to buy my ticket.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

London has great hookers, even near the airport.

Walking along Gerrard Street (Chinatown) a month ago there were a few massage madams on the lookout. One caught my eye then saw my daughter with me 😅.
                  Soho is less subtle.

                            Nah ... I won't be there for quite a while yet. Besides, that's more Aqua's style. 🤔
