Never heard of him actually, or maybe just minorly. I guess he keeps a low profile, which if I were ever rich, would do the same thing.

He was a big deal in the 90s and early aughts. Not quite Jobs/Gates, but the very next tier below that. Like maybe Altman and Thiel are today in terms of name recognition.

Good question. Maybe he got really diluted in the early days and is ‘only’ a deca-billionaire despite the market cap.
