Chloe was an outdoor cat. Do you still let her out?

The other two are watching intently from inside. Chloe sadly passed away several years ago. We did let her out because she demanded it. It was what she was used to and would not have been happy just indoors. Our two rescues required that we keep them as indoor cats and we do. Cosmo will eventually be indoor too once we get her in. She's showing some interest in the indoor now. She let Janet pick her up for a minute today so the bonding continues.

She's picked up on using the litter box right off so things are progressing. I think she goes inside today.

They’re still looking for her outside. I don’t think they noticed me carrying her upstairs. She’ll be in the guest room for a couple days. I’ll sleep there with her.

George suggested a cat playpen for first introductions to Stella and Luna, who are VERY interested in The Cat In The Guest Room. It arrives today.

Have you considered one of those outdoor playpens for the cats? Karla’s seen a lot of these recently, where people install a cat door that leads out to a large metal play pen for the cats.

No. They don't need to know about outdoors. Cosmo does. but she's very young and will forget.
