I play that one most days - it gets progressively harder through the week, although never that difficult, there's just more words.

    I was only joking

It gets harder through the week until Friday and hard again on Sunday. Saturday more like early-week.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

Hard pips in 4:11. Not bad.

                          Is Pips getting harder?

My first couple games (hard) I did in under 2 minutes. Now 4 is the norm and sometimes it takes 6.

Could be I got lucky the first few, and found the easiest starting point first.

I think it is too. I'm not sure it will last, because it's essentially the same game every day. Not as varied as say Connections or Strands or Letterboxed.

I'm still doing it, though. It uses different neural pathways than the word games. Brain calisthenics.

I do too. I stopped connections. Same reason I don’t like cross words. The puzzles are too subjective and I resent racking my brain trying to figure out how one particular individual thinks.

My morning routine is now wordle, strands, pips, and squaredl. Evenings I do waffle (after 8 when it resets). In bed before sleep I do quordle and octordle, ( the classic, sequence, and extreme versions) Those are just enough to make me tired.

I still like connections although at times the obscure pop culture references escape me. I’ll have to try the others you mention.
