    Yeah, I didn’t mention it here but I went on Monday to get an xray and confirmed the rib wasn’t cracked or broken. So I should be all healed in another week or so

    If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

        Still not working out, going to the gym every day to do 30m of brisk walking on the treadmill.

        Ribs are better than a few days ago but I’m still afraid to get on the bike or put any strain on it.

        I’ll be going to get the stitches looked at today. Last week he envisioned them coming out yesterday but it doesn’t look ready to me.

        Yeah, it’ll be next week the doc said. My guess is Wednesday or so.

        I think I’ll try to get on my bike tomorrow. Seems like I should know in short order if it’s going to bother my rib area or not. I’ll probably either ride 30 miles or 200 meters. lol

            Yeah, your ribs will let you know in short order.

                That too. Though I’ll always be barely visible in your rear view mirror on the aging highway….

                  I didn’t end up trying my bike this morning. My ribs hurt too much getting out of bed. I did do a small subset of my ‘push’ workout though as well as the treadmill. Tomorrow I’ll do a portion of my ‘pull’ workout and see if I’m up for the bike.

                    @jon-nyc

                    Tut, tut, tut. Age is a variable. And you just may be more a bit more variable than most. I am as constant as the north star. 🤡

                      There's a Joni Mitchell lyric for that - "You said I am as constant as the northern star, and I said constantly in the darkness? Where's that at? If you want me I'll be in the bar."

                        Actually this the exact quote. Not that you and Jon's love was lost... NTTATWWT

                        Just before our love got lost you said
                        "I am as constant as a northern star"
                        And I said, "Constantly in the darkness
                        Where's that at?
                        If you want me I'll be in the bar"
