It was always stupid to make any categorical claim about names that do or do not appear in the Epstein files. It's only slightly less stupid to jump to conclusions about those names being a bunch of prosecutable sex criminals.
She is, of course, right that if Trump was incriminated in the Epstein files, the info would have been released, officially or otherwise.

There are pictures of Epstein with Trump. Epstein called Trump his best friend at one point. Epstein was a member at mar a lago until 2007, when Trump banned Epstein for harassing young women.
This noise Trump haters are making now, that "Trump is in the Epstein files", contains almost no new information whatsoever. But the Trump haters are content to make the noise, "Trump is in the Epstein files", because it's as close as they can come to calling him a pedo, while maintaining some veil of just asking questions.

I think the only real story is Trump changing his tune on the Epstein files. He let people believe that everything was going to be exposed and - by promoting the likes of Kash, Bongino and Bondi - tacitly gave credence to the idea that there was something nefarious behind the scenes.
Now he's against disclosure. That's shady. The reasons why are less important than the effect this is having.

When you begin from the notion that the Trump campaign was always full of shit about their implications of all that dirt in the Epstein files, it begins to make a lot more sense. Occam is still firmly in the camp that there is no there there in those files.
I'm not clear whether the files expanded during the Biden administration as the result of more investigation. If they did, then Trump wouldn't have even known what was there, while he was campaigning. So, he could just join in with the conspiracy theorizers that there's a trove of dirt.

My best guess is that the government has little if any convictable dirt in the files.
But this has become a cultural shibboleth. Either you believe that Epstein is illuminati or you don't. A lot of people in Trump's base believe it. That in and of itself is a problem for him now... TBD if people will forget about it.

The Trump haters can't stop talking about how his base is totally fractured over this. I don't know how much of a point they have, but I do know that they think they can will a crisis into existence, if they just scream loudly enough that Trump is in crisis over this.
I will grant that Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, and some other podcasters that helped get Trump elected, are deeply troubled by what they consider to be an obvious coverup. If they can grow their coalition, maybe someday we'll elect someone who'll fabricate whatever evidence their base wants to see.
