Great stuff. Folksy classical I just call it gypsy swing or gypsy jazz a la Django.
The offshoot in the US is Dawg Music which grew out of the Newgrass movement in the 1970s. David Grisman being the leading proponent. Some great albums were produced in the style. Highly recommend one from 2007 called The Living Room Session with Grisman and Frank Vignola. Here’s a sample track:
