That's pretty awesome. We'll also presumably save a lot of medical expenses with those sorts of treatments.

Yeah but the ‘one-and-done’ genetic treatments, at least for rare disease, are priced in the low single digit millions.

For now. I wonder how much we spend in other ways on rare genetic diseases. How many millions have been spent on Alpha 1 transplants and other related treatments. How much better if we could fix it from the start.

In the US. In the Philippines they are going for $78 and a carton of Marlboro.
