I had to stock up on some non-perishables that I keep on the top shelf of one of our kitchen's cabinets. I pulled out the stepladder, and when I put the box up there, I found a bottle of this stuff in the back of the shelf.

I wonder if this is still good....

Sure. You purchased it before that date, right?

(I was joking. It might be fine, but I wouldn't.)

You can buy a new bottle for about 2 bucks. So the question is, are you willing to risk dying over 2 bucks?

Kind of terrible to have 250 million year old Himalayan sea salt, only to find that there is an upcoming expiration date!!!! LOL

For dry things like salt or sugar, I wouldn't mind eating them decades after their expiration date.

A.T. Hagan was a prepper who used to hang out at what used to be the largest homesteading forum on the net. He's a pretty sharp guy.

He wrote a small TEOTWAWKI ebook, We Interrupt This Program, that I thought with the help of a good editor, could have been published.

Like many preppers, he's now gotten too old and sickly to live through many of the problems he spent years preparing for...
