    A bit of Hollywood trivia...

Rated as a Master chess player, this Hollywood actor often played on the set. In his most famous movie, he's seen playing a game.

While filming the movie, during breaks he often played against another actor working in the movie. But it's said that even as good as he was, he never beat his supporting actor in their several matches.

    Both were very good.

Who was the star? Who was the supporting actor? And what was the movie?

Don’t want to spoil. ChatGPT and grok got the same answer for movie and lead but different supporting actors. Going to go see if Claude will break the tie.

      Only non-witches get due process.

Interesting Claude named yet a third supporting actor. But came back really really fast as if it didn’t do an internet search.

Google ai named a different guy and film altogether. Probably wrong.

Now I’m curious about the real answer, if for no other reason than to rate the AIs.

I'll come back to it. Thought Phibes might have it in one.

Another clue...The star we're talking about once lived in New York as a young, broke Broadway actor. He often played chess for money...

I know the main actor. Not sure about supporting actor

                    Humphrey Bogart, Casablanca

Supporting actor - I'm guessing Paul Henreid, because I can't imagine it being Peter Lorre or Claud Rains. I guess it could be Peter Lorre.

                    I was only joking

                      Bogey came to mind.
                      Claude Rains (spelling?), Casablanca?
