Pretty much. I got on PW in 20002 or 3 and TOCR was well underway by then.

Piano world was going in 1998, maybe a little before that. I started asking about pianos there before we went to Colorado in 1999/2000. I bought my piano in 2000. What was the other board that was active back then, rmmp? Dewey and Larry came over from there.

Rec.music.makers.piano was a usenet group. From before internet forums took over.

I thought his name was Steve. Or does she have a dirty little secret?

Iโ€™ve been playing different music on it lately, (not the classical pieces I usually play) really like some of the music this guy writes, in particular , this piece:

The three boards at that time were RMMP, Mr. Land's and PW. I remember well when you bought the CW.

Crazy that it has been 20 years., I had not been on Piano World very long at all, and then we switched. I was in Singapore, so while it was middle of the night in the US, it was middle of the day in Singapore.

If I remember, we got a "member #" based on when you signed up. Since most of you were asleep when the switch was made (maybe happened at midnight US time?), I think my # was in the top 5. LOL

One more year TNCR will be old enough to buy booze.

Imagine how crazy weโ€™ll be then.
