“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Not sure if this'll be paywalled. Uri Berliner, who publicly left NPR over his issues with their bias, thinks they should turn down federal funding and go full progressive punditry without any posturing otherwise. Makes sense to me.

        They'd die.

I don’t think they die they’d just become internet/satellite based. Most of the federal funding goes to local stations. While the stations do pay some money to NPR I don’t think they’d have trouble supporting a studio and a couple dozen shows, even without ads. Heck they may be able to do it on Mrs Kroc’s money alone.

          Only non-witches get due process.

            1. They need to make a concerted effort to be politically fair.
            2. If a concert or play has public funding, it should be fodder for public tv or radio.
            3. Affiliates should be better at sharing programming, especially in radio. Nashville could probably generate multiple programs as could NYC and LA.
            4. Public radio and TV should be the official EBS. For radio, issue some new AM 50K Clear Channel licenses.
