    Something you don't usually see in The Hill:

    “Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

    Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

      @Jolly what about the 'nukes-for-guaranteed-sovereignty-deal' with Russia?

      Conveniently disappeared?

        That train left the station a long time ago

          And what have we learnt from that?

            Jon and discussed a bit of that a few days ago.

            One thing it means is that no nation will ever voluntarily give up their nukes ever again.

              I am not even going to bother pointing out the errors and omissions in this opinion piece.

                I think that it will also mean that countries will be more willing to invent nucelar weapons for themselves.

                If they feel that their security in the future cannot be guaranteed by countries like the US, they will look for alternatives.

                This is DPRK's (weak in their case) arguement as why the need nuclear.

                  @taiwan_girl

                  UK and France will look to increasing their existing nuclear arsenals. I also believe we will see more European countries obtain nuclear weapon capability. Germany, Sweden and probably Poland to start. The first two almost certainly.
