That gives us some idea of how scotus might rein things in.

Hopefully. Things being crazy for a couple of months of transition is OK, but four years of bouncing off the walls is going to take it's toll on America.

Gosh. I guess our republic is still ok. Go figure.

Sorry, but Roberts had an opportunity to head some of this off at the pass, but Roberts being Roberts, he fucked up.

NO Federal district judge should have the singular power to totally thwart the Executive or Legislative branch. Those issues should start with a three judge panel at the appellate stage and be fast tracked to SCOTUS, if needed.

Ok, I don’t disagree, but that is the way it is today. We should also have term limits and Citizens United was decided correctly but needs to be changed. We cannot have government by what someone thinks should be.

                  I disagree with the article.

Roberts is a fence-sitter. Often, his opinions do not lay issues to rest, they just create more potholes in the road. And I think that is how he will be remembered.

But to be fair, Congress has not functioned well in many years. Under either party.

Congress's lack of diligence is a major reason we are where we are. They've been kicking many cans down the road a long, long time.
