    Signed Chase and Higgins.

Now if we can keep Hendrickson and shore up both the O line and the defense.... I have my doubts. The O line has been weak despite efforts every year and I don't know they have enough cap space for the defense.

There are a few OT in this year's draft, but there are several decent OG prospects. On the other side of the ball, it looks like it's a good year for DT or Safety.

Maybe y'all can find what you need.

Congrats, you have the 2nd best WR tandem in the division! Of course, we don’t have anybody to actually throw them the ball…

As for cap room, the new contracts probably saved you a little room, depending on the structure. The problem is there aren’t great options to spend your cap on. It’s a weak FA class. Pittsburgh actually has a bit of a problem if we don’t sign a $30-40M quarterback. We have to get up past the 90% cash spending over the past 3 years and there’s no free agents worth the money to spend. Speculation is that the Watt extension will be structured oddly to have bigger cash/cap spending this year then be cheap going forward.

As for the QB situation, it appears Rodgers is option 1, a trade for Cousins is 2, and (ready for this @Jolly ?) a trade for Carr is 3. There’s also some thought of rolling with Mason and spending a 3rd or 4th on Shough.

Rumor is, Carr wants out. He can play pretty well, if you can keep his jersey spotless.

The contract extension you guys gave him was about staying cap compliant, not about wanting to keep him.

From what I can gather, the huge cap increases the last 2 years have saved your behinds as you are still paying off the run you tried putting together Brees last couple of years. I think I saw there are guys against your cap that have been out of the league for 4 years?

                It's called The Loomis Effect.

The Saints also have problems with contracts on aging players. Jordan took a cut to play this year (his dad was a lifer and he wants to be one, too), but Cam is not the Cam of two years ago. The Honey Badger has lost a step and Demario Davis is going to fall off a performance cliff at any time. Kamara will turn 30 this year and that's ancient for a running back. And he's a puppy compared to Taysom Hill.

44% of the Bengals salary cap on three players. Three we had last year I might add.
