Also, agree with @bachophile that the US had to know that Israel was going to do the bombing they did. 100% Looks like he is starting to throw Isreal "under the bus:

Count me in as well, in fact it is inconceivable that under the current circumstances, the Israelis would not have coordinated this particular mission with US CENCOM.

Playing the victim and blaming others when things don’t go the way he wishes, however is His Exalted Ineptitude’s, Trump, M.O. and leadership style. As time goes on it rings more and more hollow.

What was once described as brilliant 4D chess in matters of foreign policy, can now only be lampooned as a children’s game of snakes and ladders with unacceptably high stakes.

I believe that either PM or Foreign Minister of Isreal at first said that Isreal definitely let the US know what they were doing.

Later, the stepped back on that statement. I wonder if there were some pressure from the US to change their statement. 🤔

      Ya think?

Actually, as much as I dislike Netanyahu, he is the only coherent belligerent in this war. The logic he uses behind Isreal’s engagement and objectives are clearly articulated regardless of whether or not one agrees with him. The same cannot at all be said for his American ally no matter who is behind the mic, the X post or Truth Social tantrum.

There's reasonable speculation that Israel knew of 9/11 prior to the event and kept silent as it would likely work out in Israel's favor. It isn't out of bounds to think that they might not have shared their plans in the current situation.

Am sure there’s speculation about it and a lot of other known unknowns. Whether any can be classified as reasonable however remains an unknown unknown.

What a great idea. Let's unite the Muslim world against the infidels. Almost as good as alienating one's allies.

This could explain the above. The market is pricing in 5.2% inflation for the next 12 months. In 3 weeks, it's gone from pricing in a rate cut to pricing in a rate increase.

A perfectly sound reason then for the rest of NATO to continue to let Trump and Hegseth’s Templars have at it on their own over there.
