Totally unforseeable. Not even by a genius like Trump.

Lo, no accord shall bloom 'twixt us and that realm, save they do kneel in token of their utter, soul-deep shame! No parley shall we hold, no treaty sign, until their will is broken, and their strength doth lie as dust before our might. -DJT, 3/6/26

If someone made up a scenario to inflict maximum embarrassment on the US, it wouldn’t look too different from this.

I’m really enjoying the Olympic quality mental gymnastics on display to defend this.

“Baby Face” Vance is in the lead for the Baghdad Bob Trophy in this conflict. His performance been nothing short of stellar the past 24 or so hours.

        Elbows up!

This is a really, really good point.

That’s also more than one year of GDP for Iran.

Why again did Biden start this war?

Hey @bachophile, how do you see his odds of getting reelected?

@jon-nyc was away out of town for a bit so i havent been caught up

                as to your question,

there is no question that the current coalition will not have a majority to form a new government and there is speculation that if bibi realizes he has no chance for reelection, he may resign after cutting a deal in his ongoing corruption trial. because if he does lose, he will have no bargaining power in making a plea deal.

on the other hand, a bad possible scenario is the current opposition also not getting the needed 61 seat majority (of 120) and it that case, bibi stays on in a cartaker governement for another 6 months.

many people think we are due for what Hungary just had, a de-Orabanization, and return to liberal democracy, but its still in the air.

polls are shaky, opposition getting between 59-61 seats. and it needs 61 or more.
                elections are in october.

                    there is no question that...

It's time that Israel gets a new government--even if the new government has the same policies as the old one, just time for a change.

                        That’s reassuring.

Looking forward to the bigly peace dividend when it’s all over and done….completely, thoroughly, unconditionally, totally victoriously and absolutely and sarcastically most winningestly
