It's so easy from an armchair in Ohio to support this. My loved ones are not in the line of fire.
Regime change would be a welcome thing, but it would have been more welcome in the 80's or 90's when more of the population remembered the less restrictive pre-revolution Iran.

Are the retaliation strikes coming strictly from Iran? Anything from Hezbolah or the Houthis?

From all the way this side of the Atlantic, I am quite amazed that Israel has all these bunkers that can keep its people safe in times of war.
Haven't read anything about whether Iran's people have bunkers to go into, or any casualty numbers from Iran.
Here in the USA, I don't even know whether there is bunker near me.

@Axtremus building code here requires every house and apartment to have a secure room or shelter. This has been true since Israel’s founding. Public buildings of course have to have larger areas ready. And every few blocks there r public shelters So here it’s considered normal.
Although I must say, I remember growing up in New York and seeing signs for fallout shelters

Not convinced the exiled members of Iran’s Pahlavi dynasty have had or have earned any more influence in present day Iran than the descendants of the Romanovs have had in Russia since the fall of the USSR.
In fact, I would not put too much on the Iranian people rising up to challenge and oust the Islamic theocrats any time soon. I think that is only wishful thinking on the part of a smattering of a few in the West.
