Surprisingly little online reaction to this, and very few people talking about it in person. I know it started late Friday Night/Early Saturday, but it’s surprising how low key this feels.
The Dave Smiths and Andrew Schultzs and to a lesser extent Joe Rogans of the world will be complaining. But the TNCR flavor of Trump haters don't mind, same flavor as Sam Harris.
I haven't checked Bluesky.

But the TNCR flavor of Trump haters don't mind….
That’s only because I want to see some Iranian religious fanatics and clerics hanging from lamp posts just a tad more than I hate Trump and his cult.

To acknowledge that Trump does not exist at the furthest possible negative end of a value scale is actually further than most Trump haters can go. So I respect that.

Sorry to break it to you, but in my mind Trump and his cult are not even close
to the furthest possible negative end of the value scale. He’s such a loser.

My thoughts at the moment...
it's long overdue given the last 50 years of this dreadful Iranian regime conducting its war against westernised infidels.
pretty sure Iran will end up divided and in the chaos that we see in Lybia or Iraq.

It's interesting to think how long he's been in power. I think Iran has had 4 leaders in 100+ years. I don't know of another country with that track record.

Since 1979 the two Iranian clerical leaders have thought of themselves as God's representative on earth, their beliefs justifying the killing of thousands, even including infants in hospitals.
I always wonder how nobody shoots these evil people
