If something really was in the works, we would not know about it. The fact that it’s all that everyone is talking about makes me think it’s all grandstanding to improve bargaining in the talks.

I was going to say - Israel may keep everything quiet. We famously give timelines and ultimatums. Cf, Iraq 91, Iraq 03.
