That would be regime change since the Ayatollahs probably would not take kindly the American Satan moving into their beloved country. And since we've done something similar to a couple countries in the neighborhood without much success we at least should have learned we are not too good at taking over Islamic countries and making them workable. Also, this would mean a pivot away from China--not in our best interest at the moment.
Wishful thinking on the part of the Israelis.
