I heard a few booms but far off. Now a lull so im out with the dog. Last thing I need is the dog peeing in the shelter.

So to sum up. Nine places where there were impacts. No serious injuries reported. Some scratches from flying glass.

I've been glued to NYT as they do updates every few minutes. they did not say anything about the extent of Iran's response.

It's so easy from an armchair in Ohio to support this. My loved ones are not in the line of fire.
Regime change would be a welcome thing, but it would have been more welcome in the 80's or 90's when more of the population remembered the less restrictive pre-revolution Iran.

From all the way this side of the Atlantic, I am quite amazed that Israel has all these bunkers that can keep its people safe in times of war.
Haven't read anything about whether Iran's people have bunkers to go into, or any casualty numbers from Iran.
Here in the USA, I don't even know whether there is bunker near me.

wrote 5 days ago last edited by bachophile@Axtremus building code here requires every house and apartment to have a secure room or shelter. This has been true since Israel’s founding. Public buildings of course have to have larger areas ready. And every few blocks there r public shelters So here it’s considered normal.
Although I must say, I remember growing up in New York and seeing signs for fallout shelters
