No more info on the adverse event but the trial is continuing.

Hopefully the adverse event could not be attributed to the vaccine.

Edit: Can't find any detail, other than an independent panel was assembled that deemed it safe after one participant fell ill.

A little more info. Transverse Myelitis. Ever been linked to vaccines before I wonder?

It has been linked to adenoviruses (google "transverse myelitis and adenovirus") and the adenovirus is the vector used in this vaccine. I don't believe there are any adenovirus-based vaccines yet in use. So not an unreasonable concern for the safety team to worry about.

                  Not, it certainly is not.
