Yeah, it's free improvisation with the following parameters I set for myself:
- No resorting to known composition (not even my own)
- Keep going for an hour
- No "reset" within the hour - no stopping and restarting pretending all preceding material never happened; the whole hour should sound like one long piece/movement rather than a set of multiple pieces/movements.
The plan now is to do this once a week. I have sort of fell into the "every Saturday, 9 AM Eastern Time" cadence, but that may change as life circumstances change, I suppose.
