If you watch The Five very much, you'll often catch Harold Ford as the lone Dem on the panel. Mr. Ford is a former Congress critter, a bit of a Blue Dawg Dem, well-spoken and affable.

I think Dems can regain power, but there has to be some fundamental change in the party. The leadership needs to be younger or at least have a younger bench. The Dems need to start addressing spending and debt. They need to ditch DIE and marginalize the Far Left mental cases within their party. And they need to quit screeching and relearn how to be likeable, affable, happy political warriors.
They need more Harold Fords.
