Oh well… Though I will point out that there is normally some separation between company leadership and the brand. If the ABV CEO comes out making a political statement, it’s a personal statement. When ABV makes political statements, it’s something else. But then, most CEOs aren’t as intricately tied to their brands as Musk.

According to Grok they dropped 6% in the US, 11% in California. In a growing EV market.

In all fairness, there are a ton of new choices that weren’t available 5 years ago and California has that whole subsidize mediocrity thing going on.
But yeah, I imagine Tesla is paying a price for Musk’s red pilling…

I agree. When Tesla was pretty much the only EV, not surprising that sales would grow. Many more "fish in the sea" now.

If it starts to affect the share price it’ll be interesting to see the shareholder lawsuits.

There's a place for EVs and Tesla is one of the best.
Rumor is, there's some dark money astroturfing the Antesla protests ...

It’s really stupid. Every Tesla they destroy counts as a sale when the insurance company pays. They’re better off letting them wither on the vine.

That's not exactly the most important reason why political terrorism is stupid.

True that, but I mean it’s contrary to their own goals. Also because it will generate sympathy for Elon and antipathy towards themselves. But you can always count on activists to chase likes rather than results.

Will the reps ever catch on that the dems care about nothing but their hate?

Wait, is that a word now?
Kind of like Antifa...Slightly different focus, most likely funded by the same people.

most likely but maybe not.
Plausibly could be the oil and gas industry and its political puppets.
But more than likely nobody of any particular note or celebrity; not even that dark money doppelgänger of the populist right, George Soros.
