      Thanks. Looks like (?) fun.

I remember reading a story about the early days, and "We go on at 11:30 if we're ready or not."

"Now look here, you Baltic gas passer... " - Mik, 6/14/08

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Yes, we don't go when we are ready, we go at 11:30.

It is worth watching, you should recognize most of the people, even the NBC execs Dick Ebersol (became chair of NBC sports) and David Tebet (hired Johnny Carson played by Willem Dafoe).

Chevy Chase told the writer/director that it was a load of horseshit and he should be embarrassed.

Akroyd, on the other hand, loved it.

Well, Chase is a known curmudgeon, to use a kind word. It's not that there are a few stories of him being difficult on sets, it's that there are zero stories of him being gracious on sets.

                Education is extremely important.

Though Chase is a slightly less tragic disconnect between persona and person than Bill Murray, who is apparently a legit terror.

True. He even got Reitman’s father kicked off a movie in the 90s. And Jason Reitman gre up with “Uncle Bill” and “Uncle Dan” (who reportedly had a fistfight with Chase)… I’m sure the film had it’s moments that were less than favorable towards Chase.

Like when Milton Berle showed his privates to Chase's girlfriend as Chevy looked on? (Not entirely accurate according to this: https://screenrant.com/saturday-night-live-milton-berle-banned-true-story/)
