Jeez. But he may be right about his abilities.

The question before New Yorkers is not: Who is the perfect choice? No mayor is perfect. The question is: Who is the best choice? To me, that choice is clear: Andrew Cuomo.

It's really astonishing how often this needs to be said. I guess political discourse naturally gravitates towards places so stupid, that this banality needs to be said out loud, over and over and over.

      Education is extremely important.

Lots of people choose noble defeats over compromise. It never made sense to me.

For New York City, is the mayor limited to total terms in office, or just consecutive terms in office?

Not sure, probably the former. But Cuomo was governor of the state, not mayor of the city

The ‘Queer liberation requires we defund the police’ guy and ‘Globalize the Intifada’ defender is winning the primary polymarket. Just a week or so ago it was 75/25 Cuomo.

If this holds I’ll be rooting for Adams.

What a fascinating experiment that would be for socialism. Really interesting to see how it ends when the budget has to balance by law.

And the state has to approve tax increases, MTA rate changes, etc.

Hey @jon-nyc if the asshat actually wins, do you think you might actually see some movement from NY to the Texas Exchange opening in 26?

People might be reading too much into this. This wasn’t Josh Shapiro, it was Handsy McGrandma Killer. He had a lot of baggage.

Network effects make that pretty hard. ‘Open up your own social media site’ hard.

It all feels a bit Ken Livingstone to me. London survived him, of course. I'm sure NY can do the same.
