Tyrus made an interesting comment the other night...To paraphrase, he thought Trump ran for POTUS because of Obama's jokes at a 2011 dinner. He extrapolated that emotion to Michelle Obama, what with all the current poking on her by the Right and the Left's bare cupboard of POTUS candidates for 2028 (the Campaign never ends).

I don't think so. I don't think Big Mike has the fire in her belly to be POTUS, nor is she enamored with the politics and schmoozing of the Beltway. I think the Obama's have made their money, I think it's very evident that Barry's influence within the Dem Party has waned and I think she'd like to sit back back, enjoy her money, status and friends, and just live life.

I agree. If she’d have been interested she’d have run in 20 or 24. No reason to wait until 28.

She'd have crushed any other Dem candidate if she wanted to run in 2024 - and if there were a primary. I think she's smart enough to recognize the downsides of a run - and I doubt she's interested.
