      But by Global South they include Russia. That kind of skews things.

        That is one of the reasons I think we need to re-open/re-join the TPP.

        (though, many of the countries that were to be in TPP have formed a new agreement - "Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership". CPTPP

          Not at all likely in the foreseeable future. In fact, I am confident that US foreign trade and investment policy during the coming four years will be to undermine that and other multinational trade and investment agreements and partnerships.
