I looked at his tweet in December as something of a political suicide note. Not that he didn’t have some good points, but “American culture sucks and we Indians are superior” doesn’t strike me as a good platform to win GOP primaries.

I actually once said that in a management meeting after they asked for volunteers for some godawful task, to be greeted with guffaws from my fellow Brit. As somebody else kindly pointed out, I haven't had a good idea in 20 years.
