I made a spicy skirt steak in a grill pan, caprese salad on the side.

Home Depot was supposed to deliver my assembled propane grill yesterday. I have the propane tank for it, and I have one of those propane-fueled outdoor heaters you see at restaurants to make cooking on it tolerable in the cold. I bought the skirt steak Sunday to use on the new grill.

Then Sunday night they said they can’t deliver it assembled because their assembly team only works in summer. Their backup was to deliver it in a box and ‘find some third party to assemble it soon’. I canceled the order.

Lowes is supposed to deliver the same pre-assembled grill Friday. I won’t buy the steak until I see it.

          Only non-witches get due process.

Chicken meatballs are a no go. The sauce was pretty good.

Find an Ace Hardware. They'll do it and do it right. You can't count on the big boxes.

                Slow cooker stroganoff.

Whenever I cook, I always ask Mrs. George, "Is it OK?"

A not unusual response is "It's OK?"

Tonight, "It's good!" Yeah, she said the exclamation mark, LOL.

I made the Poulet Basquaise again. Even better since I had enough Espelette pepper. Even Mrs. Mik liked it.
