Rental cars too. Bumps up the price nearly 50%.
I wonder if one of the rental companies took a stand and provided transparent honest pricing whether customers would be savvy enough to reward them for it.

No they wouldn't. That’s why laws make sense. Once one company is burying fees they all have to in order to stay competitive.

I was thinking the opposite. LOL
If there were too towns next to each other, and one price was 5% higher because of taxes, and the town lost business to the next town, maybe that would be incentive for them to lower their local taxes.
