Brenda Lee

PBS currently has an episode of American Masters about Brenda Lee, free for streaming from their ROKU ap (and I assume most other devices or smart tv's).
Some interesting stuff. Brenda Lee topped the charts in multiple genres of music, over multiple decades, with her first #1 at 12 years old. She had the most double-sided hits of anyone, ever. She's never had a singing lesson. The Beatles opened for her, at one show. She is also the oldest woman to ever top the Billboard Hot 100.
The producer on many of her recordings is Owen Bradley, one of the best to ever work Nashville. He assembled the best session musicians in Nashville (Floyd Kramer did a lot of her piano work) and a lot of her songs were recorded in less than 20 minutes, with her singing in the room with the band.
She married the first guy she ever went on a serious date with, after they dated for six months. She was 18. Their first daughter was born just over a year after their marriage. BTW, they're still married.
Interesting artist. Recommended show...

Coward.
I meant Mrs. George in October 1976. She didn't talk to me for a month.
We went on our first date in the middle of November 1976.
We got engaged in December 1976 - a month after our first date.
We married in June 1977, six months later. BTW, we're still married, lol.
