      It wasn’t just The Beast. Republicans have to deal with the hard right holdouts. I kinda respect Massie, but we also need to accomplish some things in 2 years.

              Without doing any research, I think you're probably right.

              However, what he believes is really not as important as what he accomplishes. So, in that context, what, as a conservative, as he done as far as regulation goes?

                Therein lies the rub.

                I think he could accomplish a lot in the next 24 months, if some of the hard right idiots would quit dying politically on every anthill.

                  Exactly. These clouds have no idea of what is important. Their desire to stomp their feet and yell at the sky accomplishes absolutely nothing.

                  They should keep their eyes on the big picture. If they can do that, perhaps they can accomplish something.
