Imagine a future with our broadband providers negotiating with various website platforms for money not to block them from us. Like cable companies and networks today. I hope congress steps in if that happens, though hopefully it wouldn’t.

I actually like the idea of the end of Chevron deference, but it sorta needs a functioning legislative branch that we haven’t really had in years.

The major broadband providers today, at least in the USA, are cable and phone companies. :man-shrugging:

Indeed. Imagine if the practices they use in the cable business move to internet.
It seems unlikely but maybe at the margins. We’ll see. Congress is unlikely to act unless problems get visible.
