The other classical musical interlude - Firebird piano version
-
I didn't know of this transcription until a few days ago when my favorite YT piano music channel posted it.
Link to videoDamn, the level of pianism is otherworldly. How can anyone play this?

Play it???
How about just read it!
But I'll see your Firebird and raise you a Petrushka!

Yes, that version is very cool, too, but compared to the one I posted it's pretty well-known, I think. Also, the transcription of Petrouchka is by Stravinsky himself, who wasn't a stellar pianist. I think Agosti managed to pull a few more tricks out of the deep pianism bag.

George posted this at the old site once, after I posted her playing the fugue from the Hammerklavier.
Link to videoAlso Trifonov plays Firebird. Might be online

It’s not that specific.
I remembered the German girl playing Op 106, and YouTube would auto start her playing firebird after. (I watched the 106 video a lot)
But I couldn’t remember her name. So I found the thread where I posted about her and was surprised to see you had followed up with her firebird video.
