Not at all, frankly, I believe it will actually help drive more Bösendorfer and Yamaha CF and SX sales. We’ve also added on Seiler. There’s not many places in the country where you can come into one showroom and try 3 of the highest regarded European brands. When they do, they will likely discover what @Klaus discovered, the CFs hold their own with any of the premium pianos on the market.
There’s more to come, as well…

Agree. I've played Bösendorfer and Yamaha instruments that I could live with and enjoy. Ranking premium pianos, I think Bechsteins are fine pianos - but I'd likely be choosing the Bosie or Yamaha over it.

Mik, your description of Bechstein is completely at odds with my experience. They are lovely instruments, but a little on the brighter side from what I have experienced… You’ve described the sound as warm and mellow, I believe?

That’s easy for you to say. But I’ve actually played his Yamaha.

A long while back, I compared a new Baldwin Sd10 vs the comparable Bechstein. I would have chosen the Baldwin.

The key information here is that you played that Yamaha. Pearls before swine.
