Playoffs? We’re talking about playoffs?

I think you've got a better chance of Jesus coming back, than the saints making the playoffs.
No starting QB, no #1 receiver, no #2 receiver, no #1 CB, no #2CB, probably no AK41.

This season already has one miracle attached, the Lord Jesus Christ. I do not look for one for the Bengals.

Plus, Denver losing all their games is believable. The Chargers? I'd have to see the schedule, but I doubt it. Bengals beating Pittsburgh? Nahhhhhh.

If the Broncos lose out, you don’t need the Chargers to lose out. What they do is irrelevant at that point… Of course, you still need MIA and IND to each lose one more time.
And Pittsburgh will likely be locked into the 3 or 5 seed by that point and will be managing snap counts.

Well, looks like Mik’s going to be rooting for the Steelers on Wednesday & the Browns on Sunday…

Nothing like spending Christmas morning listening to pregame analysis…

Colts are down to the NY Giants… That’s pretty damn miraculous… Everything is going the Bengals way EXCEPT for Pittsburgh losing to KC, meaning they will be resting their starters against Denver.

Had the Bengals lost yesterday the calls for Taylor’s job would be deafening. It never should have gone into OT. He went for it and failed twice on fourth down instead of chip shot field goals. Against a great defense.

I’m not sure the fans should be calling for the firing of a coach that had you in the SB 3 years ago, and has had 3 (going to be 4) winning seasons in a row.

Well crap. The Bengals now only need 3 things to happen:
*Jets beat the Dolphins (While the Jets have played badly this year, they are a team loaded with talent that is pissed). That’s feasible.
-
The Chiefs have to beat the Broncos. The Chiefs will be starting a fair number of backups, but those backups aren’t necessarily that bad. Carson Wentz looked like a quality NFL starter a few years ago, and has gotten to spend a year working with one of the best coaches in the league and the best QB in the league. In addition, the rest are f the backups would love an opportunity to prove something. It is quite possible that the Chiefs pull this off and it would only be a mild upset.
-
That leaves Bengals beating the Steelers. My life would be so much easier if the NFL scheduled this game after the Jets/Dolphins and Chiefs/Broncos. But they didn’t. They scheduled the game for Saturday night. So at that time, the Bengals will still be alive and in the hunt. So now Luke and I (both Steeler fans) will be watching the game with Karla and Finley (both Bengals fans)…
To make matters worse, the only game before the Steelers/Bengals is the Baltimore/Browns game. While Baltimore really should win hands down, it’s a divisional game between two teams that hate each other, the Browns have nothing to lose, and a dominant defense. They are also starting a 4th string QB that the Ravens have no tape on, and weird things happen. IF the Browns pulled off the upset, Pittsburgh would be playing for the division, and will want to go all out. I am ALMOST at the point of hoping Baltimore wins and the Steelers decide to rest players… But even if Baltimore wins, Pittsburgh still has to get the stench of a 3 game losing streak off of them. Plus, there’s a chance that Pittsburgh could lose the 5 seed to the Chargers, so it’s important to win this game. Just not as important as it is for the Bengals…
On second thought, I may not watch this game, instead maybe we’ll all go out to the circus that’s in town or something…
