Acting Secret Service Director

All government career climbers are politicians, and vice versa. This was an amusing interaction with the acting chief of the SS.

tl;dw: this is from a hearing about the SS failures around presidential assassination attempts. The congressman presents a recent picture taken at 9/11 ground zero, with Biden and Harris and this SS director right next to them. The congressman asks whether the Special Agent in Charge is supposed to be next to them (which the director is not), and the director gets belligerent and starts screaming about how he was at 9/11 and what a tragedy that was. The senator then accuses him of just wanting face time or time in front of the camera, and they both scream at each other for a few minutes. It's great.

I thought this congressman's monologue/question was quite good. Talking about a culture of mediocrity at the SS and how that should be anathema, from his experience in elite cultures.

Why do both of these video’s thumbnails have an overlay of AP calling the election for Trump as if that is breaking news?
That's something youtube does to prevent misinformation. They add it to any video their AI tells them is political in nature.
