This is a bill to refine the duties of the Secret Service. Bongino was touting it on his podcast today. It tasks the Secret Service to protective services only, and divests them of investigations.

I can't listen to Bongino. He yells too much.

But, I've often wondered why they have a dual role.

It would make sense to roll everything else into the FBI while keeping protective services.
