No kidding, Assad and Co. folded like a cheap suit and high tailed it out of Dodge.
Hope he and the family will enjoy living in Dead Skunk, Russia. Good riddance.
I think the lost plane or crash stories are just stories, social media gossip.

I suspect nearly three years of diminishing Russian support contributed to his demise. Hard to imagine his replacement will be significantly better.

I haven't followed the Syrian mess in a long time.

Anyhow are the rebels allied with any country, what is their ideology - moderates, or true believers?
