"It is clear that Hunter was treated differently."
"No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter's cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong. There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they've tried to break me – and there's no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough."

Democrats take care of their own.

I knew it, and I would do the same in his position.

Too bad Trump didn't have the chance for magnanimity. I suspect he would have taken it.

So, does Trump have a handy whatabout pardon to compare with this one?

If I read that pardon correctly, the entire Ukrainian grift is pardoned as well. So he pardoned himself as well.
Son of a bitch!

Depends on what you would consider a good comparable.
Charles Kushner? Bannon? Flynn? Roger Stone? Manafort? Blagojevich? Joe Arpaio? The various war criminals?
But if you want perfect comparison, neither Uday nor Qusay Trump were convicted of anything (yet) so he didn’t even have the opportunity.

Why would President-Elect Trump pardon Blago? Reportedly, he considered it, but didn't.
Just for some perspective, Bill Clinton pardoned about 140 people on his last day, including his brother.
Also, for perspective, he commuted the sentences of the Senate bombers.

Jim Jordan:
"Democrats said there was nothing to our impeachment inquiry.
If that’s the case, why did Joe Biden just issue Hunter Biden a pardon for the very things we were inquiring about?"

They weren't convicted, let alone indicted. So, it's far from a "perfect comparison."
The various war criminals?
You're talking about Obama, who ordered an extra-judical assassination of a US citizen? He wasn't indicted or convicted either.

I wonder if Mr. Biden knows he did it.

Hunter didn't hold any office from which he could be impeached. He was charged with a gun offense and failure to pay taxes, both of which are crimes of individuals, or spouses, Not father-son pairs. That much should have been obvious to Mr Jordan, and to you.
