The advantages of a bad team...

Last home game against the Browns, tickets were on Seat Geek for $12 a half hour before game time. The Saints are playing the Rams at 3PM today...Rams fans do not travel well and a 3PM game is tough for some Saints fans. Ticket prices were as low as $20 a day ago.
As of right now, I'm seeing $7 tickets for the upper deck in the corners (gee that lasted 45 seconds). Several $12 and $14 tickets available.
Read where one guy took his wife and two kids to the Browns game for $100, for pretty decent seats. This is kinda interesting...The NFL game tickets have gotten so expensive, a lot of folks are priced entirely out of the stadium. At prices like these, a family can see a NFL game for about the same price as going to a movie. As long as Dad doesn't drink too many $12 Miller Lites.
Here's hoping some kids get to see Carr and Stafford square off today...

As far as bad teams go...The Saints have lost 7 games. At the start of the fourth quarter in each of those loses, the Saints were ahead or behind by only one score.
If Hill and Carr had not been out for weeks, the Saints would probably be 7-4, instead of 4-7.

You're saying the advantage of a bad team is cheap tickets?
Might as well write about the advantage of a bad product in general.
Are people happy about buying a bad product just because it's cheap?

Gotta read both posts. The Saints have a losing record, but they've been pretty competitive in almost every loss.
You're still seeing a pretty good NFL game for $12. Those tickets are normally $63.

We considered getting some last minute cheap seats for Browns-Saints but the girls wanted to go shopping.
Just because they lose doesn’t mean you won’t see good football. Bad players don’t make it to the NFL.

Ah, you're saying these are still pretty good teams (which contradicts the thread title), just losing more than winning this season.
That I can understand. Many people are happy about buying on the cheap products that are basically decent but not "the best" in the market.

When I lived in Miami in 90-91, the Heat sucked. (I think they were then an expansion team).
It was easy to get tickets, unless the Nicks, Bulls, or Pistons were in town, those sold out well in advance.

Redskins have sucked for years. When the schedule came out with the Steelers at Washington, I checked into tickets. $400 per for the cheap seats. FML.
