I’m a 26-year-old woman
Whatever.
former middle school teacher
Thank the Lord for “former”.
because I am a woman in the eyes of the law
Stop there, for a minute. What do you mean “in the eyes of the law”? Are you receiving legal benefits that are particular for a woman? Perhaps a scholarship? If so, then shame on you and shame on the law.
And biologically speaking, via hormone medication and surgery, I am female.
No, biologically speaking, you are a male with a mutilated penis, that has been castrated, and are perhaps 10 years away from horrible and debilitating conditions thanks to the witches brew of hormones and drugs that you are pumping into your body. And when you are incapacitated from a stroke, aneurysm, or whatever, the medical responders will likely screw up your treatment as biological sex can make a significant difference in treatment and dosage levels. But whatever, you do you, just so long as it doesn’t impact me and mine. You wanting to be in the bathroom next to my wife impacts me and mine.

I find that funny even though the three places I lived the longest in my life are NY, OH, and FL.

It's the real thing,
From Henry Wadsworth Longfellows poem about Cincinnati "Catawba Wine" that we all love so well:
The winds and the birds shall deliver
To the Queen of the West,
In her garlands dressed,
On the banks of the Beautiful River.(This would be different from Longfellows poem: "Cowabunga Wine" about Bart Simpson's home town, Springfield.)
