Chow Time
-
I see problems from both sides.
Macronutrients, micronutrients, etc. What soldiers need, is good basic chow. Choose between a couple of entrees, add on a couple of vegetables, some bread and a decent dessert.
If a soldier comes in on off hours, reheat some leftovers or have sandwiches available.
Maybe we need to take a hard look at all the contractors and even go back to the old days, where the military ran their own food services with all service people.
